Americans go for quality over quantity every time, you don't know what you are talking about. We have the best trained, best equipped army in the world. The Britis, Canadians, Australians and Kiwis are all good, but they simply do not have the funds for training we have because they all have weak wimpy socialist governments that hate the military.Don't worry though, we're about to join the club.

I didn't say it was lack of training...obviously the Canadians are some of the best soldiers in the world, they just don't have the training facilities and dollars to keep up with the Americans as far as training is concerned.

rapiddominace - I would agree with you Americas not alone in that respect, I would for example have the French, Italians and Spanish at the bottom of the list (not necessarily in that order).

That doesn't mean anything because:

1. The US is practically an imperialistic military country with bases all over the world, so obviously their military budget is going to be huge.

2. America has more than 9x the population of Canada.

Americans just don't get this concept, it's quality not quantity!

Yeah, The Americans have a much larger budget, but take a look at some of the people in their armed forces too.
Training is sometimes more important that technology or funding.

I didn't say that the canadian armed forces aren't some of the best in the world, I've trained with them. they just don't have the funding that the Americans do and if you can't put two and two together as far as training is concerned, I don't know what to tell you

A Canadian Soldiers is in a constant state of training, be it on the job (In unit lines, or out on Exercise) or on course) The Canadian Soldiers never stops learning, improving, and bettering themselves.

Canadian training facilities are some of the best in the world, and some of the largest. Learn before you speak.

They were on Patrol, ambushed from multiple locations. Their primary objective was to get out of the killzone consildate then win the firefight.

I dout you served, and if you did it must of been a WOG position. These are highly trained Soldiers, who are welcome sights fighting alongside US infantry and USMC do to their high professionalism and training.
