Ohhhhh yea! It came on the same time as Friday Night videos! You are correct, sir! (Im guessing, lol). That (TBS) was the 1st place I saw Yaz and the "My Definition Of A Boombastic Jazz Style" video by the Dream Warriors....wow!

Rockit was released in early summer of 1983. I remember the first time I heard that song on an AM radio station that only played black music. Year 2001 Boogie was also popular at that time and so was Mtume's Juicyfruit. I also remember this song but it seems that it was released in fall or early spring of 1983.
