It's not about him wanting to kill her, the line "I think somebody better put out the big light because I can't stand to see you this way" isn't about him wanting to kill her he's just saying he sees what's going on with her and wants it to stop. Not necessarily killed.

sorry to read your comment Evolution216.. but if that person heard that was the reason.i wonder if he has proof,or just rumor for concert people's convenience. did he come out on stage and say that.where did this info come from..always question your source of information. he may have done that, but do you know why? he could have been waiting on event co-ordinators himself .. or some glich in getting the event underway... and that fact may have been misinterpreted..ya never really know.
