You're right.. I understand what you're saying.. They'r both brilliant players..Something to aspire to without question..But this "OWNS" every arrangement I've ever of the this hymn.. I'm only 50 so I'll be waiting for the next installement that surpasses this.. I surely can't imagine it.. Tommy is wonderful.. not hating.. Just something about Doyle.. Slays me...

I saw this guy at one of his clinics at Hot Licks Guitar Shop in Maryland. He is a straight up bad ass on that guitar.

lol theres no owning nobody its style of playing. i think that you just prefer doyle's version thats all tommy emmanuel's version is also nice!

one of Hank Garland's Favorite Guitar Players!This is one of the songs Hank listened to while recovering in the Hospital. I will never forget Doyle Dykes and His family and what he has meant to us! Thank you and God Bless!
