What absurdity? I said that everything he played was relevant. For those uneducated, that means that it does, in fact, matter. I was agreeing for the most part, it just sounded like you were saying that all of his other songs, which are for the most part religious, didn't matter.

Mr. Nice Guy ... I am proud to be an American ... in no way do I discount any of his talents and music; he's a great musician, no doubt... and it's not about religion ... it's about that I enjoy a good patriotic tune ... and it DOES really matter ... where in the heck did you even come up with such absurdity ... and as I said (he) "got my attention" ... again SALUTE ...

What does he play that doesn't matter? Everything he plays is amazing and relevant; whether it be religious or patriotic.

Nice. Opening with God Save The Queen was cool. Americans are alright I suppose :D

SALUTE ... you got my attention with this one ... hey thanks for caring enough to play something that really matters ... great ... I mean great ... thank you ... keep em coming ...

Chet was certainly a pro thumbstyle player, no question about it. "An Icon!" However, I believe that Doyle has surpassed Chet in the areas of delivery, style, and diversity. If you ever get an opportunity to watch him perform, you'll know what I mean. These little clips on YouTube don't begin to portray Doyle's real, up close and personal, talent.

How would you compare Doyle Dykes to the great Chet Atkins when he was in his prime? I rate them very close...

I've known Doyle since he was a youngster. I have recorded with him in the studio. Let me assure you that he is, unquestionably, the most professional guitarist on planet earth today. Just unbelievable!

With Doyle Dykes being a preacher it's nice to see him playing these patriotic songs
