Stuning. And I love the way everyone forgets to clap for Dave's solo. They're still in shock ...

Could someone hook a brotha up with an MP3 of this fine performance? I'm a self proclaimed computer caveman so to say that my abilities in this relm are limited would be a great understatement. I'll sweeten the deal with an offering of my first born. Thanks!

Right, my observation of the last 25 yearssays that there is definitely something wrongwith the main approach to play improvisationalmusic, which I find is due to commercial reasons. You can't be good at spontaneousinvention, if you're clasically trained orstrictly imposed a harmonic system (i.e scale based methods)to play. Computers do the mechanical job better, so let's get rid of our guitars and enjoy the robots play.

Well cant really agree with that... Only a few, there are hundreds(at least) of masters of the guitar. and certainly more than a couple of dozen. But they are few and far between with how many people play it, thats for sure.

Teach new guitarists(who can whistle in tune)to unfold lateral melodies rather than forcing them into harmonic moulds. It's a shame that the most popular instrument on earth, has just a couple of dozen master players with taste.Sure hre's one of them.
