The song is an old Welsh love song called Lisa Lan (Fair Lisa), composer unknown. In this version the singer starts from the 2nd line of the 1st verse which is as follows :Bum yn dy garu lawer gwaith,Do lawer awr mewn mwynder maith,Bum yn dy gusanu Lisa gelAc roedd dy gwmni yn well na'r mel.TranslatedI have loved you many timesYes many an hour in prolonged tendernessI have kissed you mysterious LisaAnd your company was better than honey.

To be precise, the Link featured in The Wind Waker was actually a descendant of "The Hero of Time" (Link, from The Ocarina of Time). So whilst the two characters are related, the Link featuring in The Ocarina of Time is not the same Link that features in The Wind Waker.
