i never liked metal or grunge at all, but instead consider myself a fan of rock and roll. Nirvana was the first band i ever got into, and Kurt was an amazing musician. In my opinion he was one of the last great rock musicians, being able to mix such a heavy rock sound with such melodies, and this somehow got lost in all the poppy bullshit that you hear today. It's really sad, and music sure isn't what it used to be.

Damn, you have good taste. I grew up in the nineties and i loved every single bit of it. But when you mentioned Slipknot and disturbed for a moment i thought you were going to say they are the best metal bands i came close to cursing you out(just joking) but then you mentioned Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath and peace was restored..lol.

I respect old school metal, just because if it werent for them we wouldn't have what we have today, but most of that old stuff is so boring and slow compared to now.If you're only going as deep as Disturbed, you're not gonna like todays music. Disturbed and Avenged sevenfold are terrible. You kind of have to look harder for good metal today, but it's out there.

Can't go wrong with Bowie. The dialogue is cut out at the end. I think kurt says "i didn't mess up..." followed by laughs, and i think Dave is asking someone for a cig.

Well, when you grow up, you'll find other music, and your tastes will grow.... hopefully.
