i think this album is pretty awesome. panic is very original and maintain their own unique style no matter what people think about it. i also like how their albums express them and they didnt try to make this one dark and depressing just to stay with that scene or whatever

omg Ryan's voice is amazing!

As far as you poorly-veiled insults, couched in polite, pretentiousness, and your little feelings about my tone- should I also explicate for you, exactly where you can stick all that silliness, or can you infer that all on your own?

I didn't actually mean you personally... as far as valid reasoning, hmmm, lets see,
p) if a bands strength is that they are cute, and have no salient talent, or originality
q) then they are only intended to be cute, and are not a legitimate band
p) they are intended to be cute, and have no salient talent, or originality
c) they are only intended to be cute, and are not a legitimate band
So, this is a valid form of modus ponens, thanks for your concern- surprised I had to explicate that

The reason their sound reminds me of other bands I've heard is becasue they were consciously influenced by the Beatles on this album, which they've acknowledged.I hope you didn't mean to sound smug, ill-informed, and dismissive, but ... maybe you should reconsider your tone, there. And accept that not everyone who enjoys this band is a 14 year old.

I assume you have valid reasoning and emotion behind your opinions, and it would be great if you extended the same courtesy.

We'll have to agree to disagree; I quite like Brendon's voice. I've been listening to the acoustic songs they did on NPR, and he's got more vibrato than I really want, and he sounds rather thin on the low volume part at the beginning of "Do You Know What I'm Seeing." But I still enjoy the sound of it, and he's got a good range. But it never hurts to think critically about music or the industry that dispenses it.

They're probably allowed to have a minimal amount of input, but they are certainly manufactured- there's a reason they're sound reminds you of other bands. Ever since boy-bands died-out(thanks universe)labels have been trying to tap back into that demographic because young girls will spend money on a band because they're cute, which is fine- that's all part of it, but it's just standard hooks, and melodies, and the videos are the point. Sorry kiddo, this just a boy-band with different packaging.

Should have picked a couple of instruments, and learned to play them well...or learn to sing. You can tell how processed his voice is when you hear live recordings, and it becomes more unintentionally funny when they try to harmonize;not just in different octaves, they're in different keys!Don't fool yourself, nobody would give them total artistic freedom because nobody cares whatever it is they think they're expressing; they're purpose is to be a mechanism to pull money from young girls pockets.

They are actually a non-manufactured band. Got together as teenagers (except for Jon, who replaced the original bass player). They play all their own instruments (in Brendon's case, a LOT of instruments) and write their own songs. Through luck and Ryan's internet stalking skills, they got Pete Wentz to listen to them, and he gave them a contract before most of the band had even graduated high school.

Fills the void boy-bands left I suppose...anyone know who manufactured them? Sure are cute though, i mean, has anyone else even noticed?, brilliant instrumentation, and, oh i don't know what to call them...vocals?
