This week on Bill Moyers Journal:On November 2, 2007, FCC Chairman Kevin Martin announced that the Commission would hold the sixth and final public hearing on media consolidation November 9, 2007 in Seattle, Washington. Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein blasted the Chairman's decision to give the public only fivebusiness days notice before the hearing:
"With such short notice, many people will be shut out ... This is outrageous and not how important media policy should be made."
i'm surprised that the F.C.C. and the C.I.A. and F.B.I. haven't somehow put bill moyers in jail. his segments are way too insightful for government regulations. o well. too bad the government can't do quite everything they want. just watch out though. they will be after the internet soon.

seeing americans unbiased comments for freedom of democracy waters my heart with love and hope for the future...america the once loved country has certainly died off like a rose flower in my heart...cuz it onced showed d world wat it really means 2 be born free and live freely..bt suddenly changed it direction cuz of greedy n selfish administration...bt nw to see americans stand up n defend wat they truely believe in...makes me look up to the country as role model for true meaning of democracy.

Bill Moyer works for PBS. I get a census from PBS and NPR every year, they don't make a lot of money. Get your facts straight little man.

It's funny reading comments from those who would rather attack Moyers than discuss the behavior of the FCC with OUR public airwaves.Personally, I find Kevin Martin's behavior atrocious.Bill Moyers' reputation stands on it's own and cannot be damaged by the petty attacks of anonymous commentors.
