It's instinctive. Cat's bury their waste in the wild to prevent predators from following the scent.

That's why I like cats and hate dogs. Cats instinctively bury their waste or at least will try to as in this case. I think it's the only animal that has this instinct to dig and bury.

I don't think it's trying to flush the toilet, it looks like it's trying to bury it's pee, like if it had a litter tray. It's an instinct.

hehe the dignified look on this cat's face when he's going about his business at the same place where humans do is awesome. and so cute the way he tries to find the flush button afterwards but fails. :D

That's a very smart and beautiful kitty you got there! But it does look like it wasn't cut very good. Reminds me of the day my mom tried to be a groomer to my dog lol!
