I saw this in high school 4 years ago. I've seen it many times since then and I'm still awed by the shear enormity of our universe!

And even if they did, they were likely highly overexaggerated. For example, there was a Trojan War. But were there feuding Gods, a nearly immortal man with only one weakpoint,&did Odysseus REALLY confront all those monsters on his way back home? Probably not. Charybdis&Scylla were most likely just a whirlpool&a mountain range, for example. How the Hell did this turn into a religious debate, anyway?
Shit, I was all excited for seeing ACTUAL science for a change!

No, we don't believe that God exists. Switching the words around is empty rhetoric.Do you believe that Santa, the Easter Bunny,&the invisible, intangible purple dragon don't exist? No? Well, that's just unproven faith! You can't prove a negative. The burden of proof is on the you. Examining that there is no evidence for God lends credence to nonexistance.
Occam's razor: Always take the simplest explanation for a thing.
I think that about covers the nonsense in Pomys's statement.

Well first...none of those events are recorded actually happeneing, so ha.
TheLithp(November 30, 2008 at 3:40 am)
Okay then. How. How was the red sea parted? How was the world flooded? How did Jesus rise from the dead?Don't say "God." Use science. According to you, you answer how with science,&why with God. It's God will explains why. I want to know how, or else I'm going to conclude that one or more of those events never happened. This is why epistemology just doesn't work. As much as people love that line, they fall back on using the God of the Gaps.
The universe doesn't prove or disprove God.

Funny how in the end that small, speck of an atom's nucleus looked eerily similar to the small, speck of a galaxy...

well that shuts me up

eames is a furniture designer interested in scale, not a scientist.

too much thinking,,,, interesting... but have a beer and settle down! Fucken scientists have too much time on their hands...

Ugh. Religious schizophenics like you need to see a psychiatrist. No once cares about your ignorant delusions.

you look like a great candidate for disproving the Heisenberg uncertainty principle or being the man to restructure our understanding of physics and the universe! our next einstein! gooo!!1!

Yall are ridiculous God is why, Science is how. They coincide, the red sea was parted by the power of God, now for salvation, it doesn't matter how, but it is through science that we can see HOW it was done, Science doesn't disprove God, it proves Him, that the universe is not random. Science merely shows how, God tells why. "How" isn't important but it is VERY interesting. This video shows that magnificence and of Creation in all its complexity. Don't quarrel over semantics.
