I saw Leon years ago in Detroit in a small venue , maybe 1000 people . His wife ( I believe is Mary Clayton who sings the high back up on the Stones Gimme Shelter) Both sitting at piano's face to face , a great show ! I believe Leon has suffered from arthritis/back problems for years

i saw him about 12 years ago and he needed help getting around and had that video screen with the words on it for him, but the man still kicks rock n roll ass! he is timeless and he can never, ever die!!!

was fortunate to see him recently at a small local jazz club. Two men had to walk him to his piano, but it was all Leon after that. I have him on 8-track, vinyl, and cd. Thanks for the post and memories!!

I saw Leon and The Shelter People around this time. Concert was unreal and I'll NEVER forget it and what a good time we had. Leon has written SO many great songs and this is one of the best!
