I have to agree with you in most of those cases. Let the kid have a childhood. But in this case Connie is the one who /wants/ to do it so if thats what she wants to do then let her all she likes =) If her parent was a pushy parent then it should be discouraged :(

Unless Connie it was will to sing in contests, I don't think that children at that age should be used by their parents to make money. Let the child have her fun/freedom and go outside and play games with their friends.
