Above and beyond being just a damn good guitar player, Stevie was just a good fuckin' dude. Players like Malmsteen can shred, brag, strut and flex their muscles all they want... but when Malmsteens done playing the same god-damned sweep-arpeggio, the same scales over and over and over and over until you just wanna kick his jimmy off......Stevie's just gonna be rocking away, playing to whatever, just because.
That's why Stevie rocks.

SRV loved Duane Allman....check Duane out on U tube....another brillant player gone too soon ,like Jimi ans Stevie. Also to my 70's people out there..Robin Trower, Jeff Beck...Page..talent today is lacking. These guys were masters!!!!

Hey, fuck you, guy. Stevie was a incredible guitar player, not to mention person, and will be remembered for many years to come. Who's going to remember you when you die? No one. You're the lowest form of life imaginable, a internet troll. Jimi Hendrix was a great songwriter. But stevie ray vaughan was a much better guitar player in my opinion.

I want more video of SRV! I wish there had been an audio-visual link on board when Stevie's copter struck that hill. There had to a moment when the idiots onboard went from celebrating life to SCREAMING IN TERROR AT THEIR IMMINENT DEATH! I would love to have that moment on tape! HA HA I bet Stevie's ugly monkey face was smiling as they initially took off but quickly became CONTORTED WITH FEAR AS CERTAIN DEATH APPROACHED!
