I've loved this song for years as well. As for why he doesn't perform it live, I don't know, but it does have a very wide range of notes, perhaps it's diffcult to pull it off live now as the decades go by.

This is the BEST Billy J song ever. Why doesn't he perform it 'live'. Saw him at The Rose Bowl 2 years ago and he proved what a terrific artist he is.
