This song goes way back for me. The words are simply lovely and a little sad.

Me too! Love this song, and wasn't able to find on YouTube until now. I only have an old scratched-up vinyl version, and no record player(thank god for CDs!!!)

It's a JD Souther composition, man.First appeared on the secret&very rare Souther, Hillman, Furey band 1973 album 'Trouble in paradise'. In between Eagles albums 'One of these nights' and 'Hotel California'.I really like Linda, but her version lacks the feeling&power of the original.Love you, guys. Welcome back!

A great J.D. Souther song, and a great vocal duet with Linda and J.D.

I miss so much the kind of voice Linda Ronstadt gave us in song back in the day...strong yet heartfelt. Thank you very very much for posting.
