The Tell-Tale Heart is a wonderful animated short film of 1953 based on Edgar Allan Poe short-story. The story told by a mad man has a dark visual with a perfect work of narration by James Mason. It is a UPA Production and was the first cartoon to be X-rated (adults only) in Great Britain under the British Board of Film Censors classification system. Really great - you have to see it.

I had to rad this in school. This is a really good book, it shows the stroy through the eyes of the killer.

no actually there are many suspicions, but most didn't believe it was the readers, most believed it was a phyciatrist or a neighbor, or friend. some believed that he had gone to prison or an asylum and was telling a nurse or inmate about what happened.

Poe died at a young age in 1849, so it was probably written in the 1830s or 1840s, but i don't know when the video was made
