Did you mic your set and record your drumming over the mario theme before shooting the video, and then play along with your recording through the headphones so your drumming on the video would visually be in sync with the recording? I'm just trying to figure out how you could've gotten all of those different camera angles and such a good sound without pre-recording the audio. I'd like to do something similar but most video camera mics make drums sound overwhelming and messy.

can anyone please tell me, how does one get the toms pretty much level with the snare (much like the drumset in this video)? is it a special setup or piece of hardware? mine is just a standard set up with the toms being mounted on the bass, and their size doesn't allow them to be that low and on such an angle without hitting the bass.
