yea. I mean HBO was going to release a show recently along the lines of "The Devils Children" which would show how a group of Satanists actual Satanists go about their everyday lives and then would show them doing their sacrifices and what have you. But such a large group of Christians protested it and actually sent death threats to the management of said company they dropped the idea along with some hundreds of hours of film for the first season.

These groups of people voiced their opinions on a large enough scale to have HBO cancel the show. What does HBO really care? They already of a shit load of other shows that people can watch. And by cancelling the show, they showed that they respect and are influenced heavily by the audiences/critiques (which is true).

dunno what these guys are talking about, but from what i've heard this show starting out was getting pretty good ratings and building up its fan base. A lot of successful shows starting out don't do amazing. Seinfield almost got cancelled when it started out but went on to win awards and named one of the greatest shows of all time.Lucky Louie doing pretty good for a new show. The problem was that some of the stuff that happened on the show wasn't liked by certain groups of people.

true...but when HBO ppl look at the ratings of a show they consider the fact not everyone has HBO, so for instance if a show on HBO get's 1million views it's equal to when a show on main TV gets 10 million...Anyway I for one didnt no bout this show (i dont live in the us) until now but everywhere I checked they said this show had great ratings

but when a show starts it needs to have a certain of viewers to keep going and not everyone has HBO. Some people still don't know that this show even existed. Married With Children was a true show it ran for longer than Lucky Louie because it had a good amount viewers. People kept on watching. Not alot of people followed Lucky Louie. But i remember watching it when it on and liking it. I would go to school or somewhere else and people wouldn't even know what i was talking about.

its because it didnt get alot of views. it wasn't well publicized. alot of people didn't know about this show and still don't know about it.

it's becuz it's so true...nobody ever told the real truth beneath marriage and havin kids...they always make shows bout soulmates and the magic of havin a baby and succesful ppl...they never showes the truth bout how shitty a marriage is...every thing else is true as well. Rich is a totally true character as well as the other couple apart from louie n kim...even the baby...
