Agreed. It's not a "crowd song"..and in fact is a very hard song to sing.

our presenth national hymn donth name Sweden at eather, it's totaly against Swed social codex to think that you better then other's but you alsow think no one is better than you.

Not only wouldn't it make sense, since this song is about the Soviet Union and its decay, it would also be nigh impossible for the average Swede to actually sing the song without completely butchering it.

Any country that uses this as their national anthem is missing the point - "I cross over borders but I'm still there now"; the country he's glorifying is not so much a country in the physical sense as it is the 'emotional' kingdom of his loyalty.

i think that this song should be the swedish anthem instead of "du gamla du fria". Our national anthem is not near as good and as true as this song
