Great job by Fiona Apple, and the Beatles. If you have not watched the movie Pleasentvile you probably should.

i been a beatles fan sence i was about 5 and i only clicked this link because i wanted a good laugh but i have to say i was impressed really impressed while the message of the song was changed by mainly the video and slighly by her singing i think she did a great job keeping the song heartfelt while at the same time making it her own also i should mention i usually hate fiona apple but i have to disagree with you on this one if i wanted the beatles id just listen to the beatles

I love this song. Ever since I first heard it in the movie Welcome to pleasentville.

This is awful -- the song is about opening your eyes up to wonderful experiences... viewing the universe through new eyes ... and Fiona sings it like she's on heroin.

I love the John C Reilly cameo.

Fiona's voice with P.T. Anderson's visionary genius.... a mating of absolute perfection!

I have to confess, Fiona did a good job with this masterpiece! On the other side, compared to John I don't believe a single verse she's singing...

yes true, but even the beatles themselves would agree with that statement.they were doing covers of chuck berry and other greats before anyone even knew who they were
