Stone Sour's clever new video for the radio hit "Through Glass" takes a super-ironic dig at all things plastic and transparent in the not-so-mythical land of 'Hollowood'.
In 95, Crahan, Gray, Steele,&Colsefini created The Pale Ones. Adding Jordison&Brainard later; they played as Meld in 95. Jordison suggested changing the name to "Slipknot" after their song appeared on Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. The line up changed again in 96, they wanted stronger vocals so they got Corey Taylor from Stone Sour and added Jim Root when Brainard left. Then Slipknot came out in 99 then Iowa in 01 and Vol. 3 in 04. All Hope Is Gone came out this year. Stone Sour began in 1992

Haha, dude. You're thinking of Mushroomhead. lol. Slipknot formed in '97 and release MFKR in the same year. Then Corey came into the picture late '98.
Mushroomhead were around first, sorry pal.

I think this is a killer video for a great song. Corey is an awesome singer, both in Slipknot and in Stone Sour. Actually there's a song called Snuff in the new Slipknot's album that has a strong Stone Sour feel to it....
