a revolution happened and Ayatollah Khomeini took the power and shortly after the Iraq-Iran War happened and after that those crazy turban asses forced Iran to become a Muslim Nation and after that they wiped out opposition started dictatorship and crushed lots of tries for revolution. a revolution is not far away, believe me.Just that the Iranian Government blocks everything that is negative towards them on the net and kills everyone that doesn't agree with them(I've lived in Iran myself)

Democratic, really try looking up SAVAK and other institutions related to the Shah. Iran was not democratic in 1979 it was under the brutal rule of the Shah.
