These clips are from the BBC: Horizon documentary series entitled "We Love Cigarettes". The advice Allen Carr gives is pretty damn good, it convinced me (a 5 year smoker) to quit cold turkey. It has been a couple months now and I'm still going strong.Update:
It has been over one year since my last cigarette and I have never been tempted to look back. I really hope this simple advice has helped someone else.
yeah I never thought I would get addicted and now I am really struggling trying to quitit took a full year for me to get hooked, and now after several, there are mutiple reasons why its becoming difficult... quit while your ahead, never smoke steadily unless u wanna get hooked

I´ve smoked for 7 years now. I started when I was 17. I´ve seriously tried to quit three times, and started again, because nothing really changed in my life expect I didn´t smoke anymore. So after two or three months as a nonsmoker I lit up not remembering why I quit in the first place. This videomakes me remember again. It´s because I hate that feeling of addiction and the taste of shit in my mouth every F**king morning. I´ll try again.

Quit dude we all wish we could go back to a time before like you are in now do it not just for yourself but us the ones that cant quit at least smoke marijuana to get high or something dont smoke ciggarettes they do nothing for you and people wont think ur cool dude no one ever told me i was cool all 9 yrs of smoking

i went all day with out a cig, but the next day i went to work and i started again, but i really want to stop, its wasting money and wasting my life.

I started years ago for stupid reasons, left it started again many times. Recently I left it for some years but just fell again some days ago. I know this fall will last just some days, then I leave it for years again. Buprion also helps me alot.

Whether or not it is a money making scheme isn't the point. The point is this man in the video is right!! You know I started smoking a year ago 3 weeks from this post. I loved it, and I loved the nicotine and everything about it. I could be social with smoking, do it whenever and feel that great nicotine hit me and everything else great about smoking...but I realized there was one thing I didn't like about smoking....it was killing me slowly! you just started today? who the hell just goes right todays the day i start smoking? its a slow build up, where over time you slowly build up your addiction rate, im a smoker, and i dont want to quit, however if i had the choice to whether i started smoking more and more then i would have stopped, the prices are rediculous!

You should quit smoking while your ahead! Smoking is NOT worth getting cancer for. And once you do get the addiction. It is a hard habit to brake. Please quit NOW!
