sinprelic, you couldn't have said it better mate! MAB doesn't have 1/10 of the talent that SRV had, and he just plays fast, so that is nothing wow and no big deal and magic.That is just boring and it sucks.SRV had more talent in his little finger than MAB in his whole body!

My take is that everyone enjoys different things and in different phases of their lives.I really appreciate MAB's amazing showmanship and the fact that he can play a guitar neck with each hand at the same time, and I like some of his recordings.
That being said, I love the feeling Stevie Ray put into his playing. It really grabs your heart!
The two are, as you said, polar opposites. Some folks will like one and not the other. I dig them both, but that's me.

LOL, is this guy comparing SRV to a SHREDER!? You cant compare soulful blues to its opposite, just blatantly fast and technical playing, especially in metal or whatever..Despite this, compare Stevie's right hand technique to ANYONES. I am in every single way convinced that you cannot outplay SRV's right hand..
I used to be a fan of Vai, but I quit when I came to the epiphany that blues is the juice of music, and that shredding is just a wrapper for the straw!

Please folks ignore halo2promoder.He knows nothing about music and guitar playing, and he has been talking shit about Stevie on many of his videos.The guy is clearly a worthless piece of shit that knows nothing and has no appreciation for the real deal of real music, since he is into heavy metal and that shredder MAB.I suggest that he goes than to watch MAB and leaves Stevie's videos.BTW. MAB can't be compared to Stevie, cause Stevie was far better and far more talented than MAB.

I've heard michael angelo batio a lot and don't get me wrong he is an amazing guitarist... but the stuff the steive does is just so complicated and unique to me it just can't compare to many if any other guitarist out there.
