Who the fuck gave a shit about Iraq and Iran before 9-11?
Not your average person.
I'm not just talking about America.
The whole world.
Not many people could have told you the difference.
Dumbass.

Guys who "can't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran" are exactly the reason why America was so easily duped into invading Iraq--a secular dictatorship--thinking they were allied with Islamic fundamentalists.

American troops killed by Bush in Iraq exceed the number dead from ALL the 911 attacks.

Compounding tragedy upon tragedy...

Its a beautiful song yes, but its true that he did cash in on other peoples emotions which was obviously his main motive. Get real people.

THIS IS SO SAD!

911 was a terrible day. We need an independent investigation into 911. There were many reporters saying there were explosions in and around the buildings. Also You Tube WTC 7 Collapse and it looks like a controlled demolitions! What an awful day.

This is a good song and there's nothing wrong with writing a song about 911. There's no doubt he was inspired to write about it because of his experience and emotions post 911- to put in words how he felt. Why not share the good messages this song is really about with the world? It's a little about 911 and alot about reminding us how we should be living every day and not taking life for granted.

Look, I'm not a country person nor would I be considered anywhere close to being a conservative yet this song touches me. I can so identify with this song. I did call up my mother to tell her I love her. I did notice things that I took for granted would always be there and did go to my Church that night. So tell me, what did you do to commemorate the loss of nearly 3000 lives that day? What did you do to help ease people's fears and sadness?

you know, this event was one of the worst things to happen in my lifetime, and im only 13!
but i feel so sorry for those families and for the people who died that day. but those who didnt have anything done to them or their family on that day were damn lucky. it was just a harrible thing to happen. damn terrorists. this song is beautiful and i cry everytime i hear it. Alan Jackson, god bless you, and god bless america as well :)
